Cage the Elephant at Stir Cove in Council Bluffs, Iowa on July 15th, 2016
Cage the Elephant is an American punk rock band that formed in 2006 in Bowling Green, Kentucky 10 years ago, with currently members of vocalist Matthew Shultz, rhythm guitarist Brad Shultz, drummer Jared Champion and bassist Daniel Tichenor, as well as touring keyboardist/guitarist Matthan Minster and touring lead guitarist Nick Bockrath, performed at the Harrah’s Stir Cove Summer Concert Series in Council Bluffs, Iowa on Friday, July 15, 2016.
The weather was pleasant but a little chill around mid-70s with no rain in sight and more than 2,500 fans started to feel warm and alive by time the band opened their set with Cry Baby, In One Ear and Spiderhead (see setlist below).
The band is known for energetic live performances; and they did that night.
The Orwells and Morning Teleportation opened for them.
What a killer bands lineup for one night!!
